About the Position - Responsibilities & Duties

• Enforce an OSHA-compliant safety program to protect employees and project partners (clients, contractors, vendors, etc.) across all U.S. project sites and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Support the development of a QHSE-focused culture by educating, training, and engaging employees and project partners in QHSE initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, and zero-harm objectives.

• Assist the QHSE Director in developing and updating safety policies, procedures, site safety plans, manuals, reports, and related documentation, including implementation and enforcement.

• Partner with QHSE leadership to develop and deliver internal QHSE training and coordinate with external agencies, consultants, and vendors.

• Serve as a subject matter expert and internal advisor on QHSE regulatory compliance matters.

• Assist the QHSE Director in preparing regulatory reports for external health, safety, and environmental authorities.

• Conduct site risk assessments to identify QHSE hazards and develop and implement mitigation strategies.

• Investigate, document, and report site accidents and incidents, and support corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

• Assist with safety equipment procurement and installation, ensuring compliance with ASME and other applicable standards.

About You - Qualifications & Skills 

• Bachelor's degree in EHS, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field.

• 2+ years of EHS/QHSE experience; renewable energy, oil & gas, or chemical industry experience preferred.

• Knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

• Experience developing and improving safety policies, procedures, and processes.

• Experience with QHSE monitoring, reporting, and documentation.

• Strong training, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented approach.

• Professional-level verbal and written English proficiency.
